Michelle is a stylist of 7 years, who has extensively trained with Presley Poe for over 6 years. Around the salon you’ll hear her affectionately called the Silent Ninja, for her ability to create big energy hair during a relaxing and calm experience. When Michelle is not in the salon, you’ll find her hiking, camping, or enjoying concerts and music festivals!

The Consultation
This conversation with Michelle will have you feeling safe, seen, and heard. You’ll immediately notice her calming energy as you discuss your goals, what the aftercare for your desired look will be, and create a plan of action to achieve your dream hair.
If you’re receiving a color service, Michelle will explain her hourly + product pricing structure which ensures every treatment or step needed to achieve your goal is included.
Elevated Shampoo Experience
Enjoy our luxury shampoo lounge (you’re going to love the built-in lower back support) while your hair is detoxified, hydrated, and your scalp is renewed.
If you have curly hair, this experience includes:
Curl Steam Bath: a demi-permanent moisturizing treatment specifically designed for curly textures to penetrate deep into the hair shaft and last so much longer than a traditional topical treatment.
Invigorating Scalp Treatment: A gentle and effective process that removes plaque, encourages healthy hair growth, and removes product build up to reveal shiny, healthy hair.
Natural Color & Vivids:
As a multi-versed stylist, you can have high expectations of your finished look. If you’re here for a vivid service, Michelle will custom craft your bold hues whether you want them to fade quickly so you can try a new color soon, or last for months and maintain the same color.
Whether you’re seeing Michelle for natural/lived-in color, or a bold vivid look you can expect your service to give back to you through the fading process, looking beautiful every step of the way.
Style & Finishing
Your color service (and haircut if you’ve chosen to include a shampoo & blow dry) will be finished with a blow dry & style that includes education on how to recreate the look at home.
Home Care Breakdown
Leaving the salon with beautiful hair is only half of what you need to have success at home, which is why Michelle will send you home with the appropriate care & styling products for your needs. At Gold Studio we offer an array of results focused luxury products for all hair types and textures.
We kindly ask that no photos be taken of our retail products, as our exclusive lines are only available to be purchased within Gold Studio.
Exclusive Booking Opportunity
Because Michelle’s guest list is so full, you’ll be given the opportunity to prebook up to a year’s worth of visits. This ensures a spot is available for you in the future!

Haircut only:
A consultation is not required for haircut only services. Please use my online booking link to schedule!
Please note when booking that “Haircut” refers to a dry cut only. If you would also like a shampoo and blowout please schedule both “Haircut” and “Shampoo w/ blowdry/style.”
Color:
An in person consultation is required before scheduling your color service so that we can discuss a plan of action and book an appropriate appointment to reach your goals.
Please Fill out the consultation form (you will not receive a response), and also book a consultation through my online booking link. We’ll schedule your color service at your in person consultation.

How to Arrive
Single Process Color:
Please come in with clean hair and no root touch up spray.
On Scalp Bleach Retouch:
Please do not wash your hair within 24 hours of your appointment. Your natural oils help protect your scalp and reduce irritation.
Curly Cuts:
Please come in with your hair down and styled as you would usually wear it. Next day hair is fine too!
Things to avoid: coming in with your hair straightened, tied up or pulled back with bobby pins or any sort of clip.
Salon Policies

Gold Studios is an inclusive and safe space that considers your emotions in regard to salon conversation.
For this reason, we ask that we keep negative conversations about others at bay. It is for our mutual benefit and well-being that we abstain from conversations that perpetuate negativity.
Gold Studios reserves the right to refuse service to any person at any time for any reason.

Please contact us immediately if you are going to be late to your appointment.
Your appointment may need to be rescheduled if you are more than 20 minutes late. Our cancellation/reschedule policy will apply and you will be charged 100% of your scheduled services. If time allows we may provide the option to receive a portion of your services and you will be charged 100% of the scheduled services.

Cancellations/rescheduling accepted up to 48 hours before the scheduled service.
Within 48 hours of the service, cancellations/reschedules will be charged 50% of the scheduled services. Appointments missed without notifying your service provider will be charged 100% of the scheduled services. Any accrued fees will automatically be charged to your card on file.
In the event that a cancellation/no-show fee is processed and your card is declined you will be blocked from booking until the fee is fully paid.

CHILDREN UNDER 18
Children under the age of 16 may book services, but they must stay under the supervision of an adult who is required to be with them the entire time.
For the safety of your children we ask that if and when they are in attendance that they are cared for with the supervision of an adult at all times.
VISITATION OF FAMILY & FRIENDS
Unfortunately, our beautiful salon is just not quite big enough to house ourselves, clients, and friends of. Please keep family and friend visitation during appointments to a minimum, exceeding no more than 1 person. Thank you for understanding.

Please visit each of our team members' pages directly to see their individual pricing. Each stylist ultimately sets the price investment for their services and will notify you if there will be any changes made to their current pricing.
GRATUITY
Did you love your experience and want to leave your stylist an extra thank you? Gratuity is always appreciated!
Not sure how much to tip and feel uncomfortable asking? The industry average is 15-25% of the service.

Gold studios itself does not refund money for any services. Please see your individual stylist’s policy for any concerns related to your services.
